Books-A-Million – Dragon Neon LED Project
The project involved the development of a decorative LED lamp for Books-A-Million (BAM!), created to commemorate the Lunar Year of the Dragon. The item was designed as a lifestyle home decor product, intended for retail distribution in the U.S. market to complement the brand's thematic offering related to Asian culture and literature.
The product is a wall-mounted light sign utilizing Neon LED technology on a shaped transparent acrylic base. The design reproduces the stylized profile of a dragon's head, characterized by an intense red light emission. The hardware is engineered for simplified wall mounting and is powered by a low-voltage system with an integrated cable, optimizing energy consumption and the operational lifespan of the lighting module.
L10brand’s scope of work included the aesthetic concept, the engineering of the LED silhouette, and the technical development of the power supply system. The activity also encompassed production management and verification of compliance with the electrical standards required for commercialization and domestic use in the North American market.
