American Eagle – Waffle Wireless Charger Project

The project involved the development of a customized wireless charger for American Eagle, conceived as a lifestyle accessory for the brand's retail campaigns. The objective was to create a technological object with a strong visual impact, capable of integrating into an aesthetic context inspired by American diner culture and leisure.

The device is an induction wireless charger encased in a silicone shell that faithfully reproduces the shape and texture of a waffle. The external structure features detailed surface work to simulate the typical grid of the pastry, with a matte finish in a natural beige color. The internal hardware is engineered to support the Qi charging standard, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of smartphones. A low-intensity side LED indicator signals the charging status without interfering with the product's aesthetics.

L10brand’s scope of work included the industrial design, the modeling of the customized casing, and the engineering of the wireless charging module to ensure proper functionality through the thickness of the silicone. The activity also encompassed production management and verification of compliance with international electrical standards for global distribution.
